For the purposes stated below Asylum Studios is the Data Controller.

We collect personal data in two ways in the operation of Asylum Studios:

2) Through visits to our venue

1) Our website

When you visit our website , Wix collect analytics information about your visit to enable us to better understand web site traffic to our site. By entering our website you are agreeing to the use of that data. The data collected in this regard is not personalised.

Our website may may contain embedded content or functionality from 3rd party service providers. The technical details and issues relating to GDPR arising from using third party service providers fall outside the scope of our privacy policy and by visiting our website you are agreeing to our use of third party service providers and with that limitation in mind. We are not able to control what happens when you visit other sites or services as you will be operating under their policies and within their servers and networks.

We collect contact information via an HTML form on our website, the results of which are processed by Wix's CRM form submissions system. Contact information is then forwarded to internal email accessed only by authorised Asylum Studios members for the sole purpose of responding to enquiries. We use Mailchimp as our mailing list platform. By filling in your details on the mailing list form and clicking the subscribe button, you agree that we may process your information in accordance with our privacy policy and Mailchimps privacy practices​.

Certain cookies are used by our hosting platform when you visit our website. These cookies are defined and managed by Wix and by interacting with the cookie banner you can adjust or even refuse to accept all non-essential cookies.

2) Visits to our venue

When you visit Asylum Studios you may chose to provide your name and contact information for the purposes of keeping informed of future events at Asylum Studios. This information is then transferred to Mailchimp (see above) and any physical material containing data is then destroyed.

How we use the Data

We use your e mail addresses in exactly the ways you consent for it to be used and for no other reason. We will only contact you in the way you request using the information you choose to share with us.

Any use of data for analysing visitor numbers for future fundraising will be done using depersonalised data; your name and contact information will not be used. We are committed to keeping you and your
