At The Juncture

At this moment the past is splitting into the future, and a spontaneous peeling apart and here we wit still in the middle, the past moving further out of reach and the future as ever untouchable. Time itself something we do not understand. As we move through days, we leave behind other possibilities and the way things are now settle into place, but we are still in flux held constantly at the precipice of different futures. Time is a material in the objects made by artists, the things we've made hold the archaeology of touch, they are the path to what happens next, stepping stones in the artist's practicing for the next one. The artworks in this exhibition explore the passage of time. Memory and imagination feeding the created object, making something that could only be of that moment.
