Join us for a special evening with curator and
author Hettie Judah.
Following the publication of her new book, How to Enter the Art
World, we’re delighted to welcome Hettie back to Asylum Studios. In
the book, she reflects on creative careers, confidence, setbacks, the
juggle of family life, illness, and finding your way in the art world.

The event will begin with exhibiting artists speaking about their work for 5 mins. This will be followed by an open Q&A with Hettie. Questions can cover anything from her work and the art world to mentoring and career advice.
The talk coincides with the exhibition 'Colliding Worlds' with artists Felicity Beaumont, Phil Robbins, Wendy Dobbs, Caroline Wright, Johann Don-Daniel, Kasia Posen, Emma johnson.
Our local bookshop will also be joining us with copies of Hettie’s book available to buy and sign. Guests will also have the chance to explore the exhibition in the gallery.
